Lighting in your home
Lighting is one of the most critical factors in the way a home looks. Good lighting makes a dull room spark with life. Choice of lighting should be one of the very first decisions made when decorating a room. Lighting is not just about the style of fixture. You should concern the direction, color and energy efficiency.
Lighting in our home has a great effect on our moods and emotional well-being. Light defines spaces, enhances color, reveals texture and form. A successful lighting plan requires an understanding of the effect of different light sources. Decorating with light is less about selecting a pretty table lamp. It’s about making us feel comfortable and at ease in our home.

Bright ceramic and mosaic tiles are very important in Moroccan design. They are used to frame doors, windows, and on accent pieces. Woven Kilim rugs, silks, sheers and rich bold fabrics are some of the common textiles used in a Moroccan interior.
Furniture in a Moroccan design is a combination of carved wooden table with inlaid tile and over-stuffed upholstery. Chairs are usually decorated with colorful paints and carvings. This gives the furnishings a rich and royal look.
The Moroccan style comes from a vibrant and beautiful history. This style gives you a richly decorated space with a touch of royalty. I can say for me that, this style is very seductive and charming.

- If you have an item that is of sentimental value, draw your Christmas color from that item.
- If your home has warm colors, it would be best to choose colors in the warm hues. That will keep the feeling of your home in a harmonious decor.
- Do you have particularly happy memories from your childhood Christmases? If so, choose a color theme to enhance that memory.
- Work around the color scheme you have year round. Select complimentary colors that bring out the Christmas season.

Tuscany Living
When I think of Tuscany living, I think of shutters with flaking paint, copper utensils, patina on the walls, two-century year old sink, sunbeams lingering on stone steps and a wide ray of yellow shades to capture the sun.
Tuscany interiors stimulate a feeling of happy childhood memories. Memories of a stunning view across a valley filled with groves of olives, vineyards and sunflower fields.
Tuscany interiors give you the feeling of country living in its simplest form. A solid country bed with a mosquito net in the bedroom with an 18th century chair, how easy is that layout. Life feels so simple when you live in a Tuscany interior.
There is nothing ostentatious in the decor of Tuscany interiors. White washed walls and your grandmother 18th century chair would be sufficient to create an atmosphere of comfort.
